Hi everyone!
The Atacama Desert Leadership Venture has kicked off starting today.
The whole crew made it to San Pedro de Atacama, northern Chile,
yesterday where most people had a free afternoon while touring through
the small andean town San Pedro.
We´re having a busy morning here at the Hosteria San Pedro with Team
formation, setting goals and expectations for the venture, doing gear
checks and camping
& safety workshops. We'll head out to the Altiplano and small village
of Machuca at 4000m at noon and start our desert trek down the San
Pedro River. As usual the desert has clear blue skies during the day
but at night the cold really kicks in!
We expect to get in to our Rio Grande Camp by dusk, so stay tuned for
our next dispatch!
