Hola from Punta Arenas again! After the clouds cleared and the blue skies arrived, we had a rushed departure from the Uruguayan camp to make it back to the airstrip to meet the plane. The final hike yielded some beautiful vistas of the island and a great team picture (attached). Once back in Chile, we had a closing dinner and all the participants enjoyed hearing the messages from friends and family. There are many stories to tell and everyone looks forward to returning home. By now, many are on their way back to the U.S. where classes begin on Monday. Antarctica was an incredible venture in many ways, and we hope you enjoyed following along.
